Dallas, GA – McKenna Farms Therapy Services is excited to announce the return of its signature annual fundraiser, Derby Day at the Farm, on Saturday, May 2, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of live music, delicious barbecue, festive games, hats, horses, and a live stream of the Kentucky Derby.
Derby Day at The Farm is a lively celebration where guests can enjoy delicious barbeque, refreshing beverages, live music, and the excitement of the Kentucky Derby, which will be streamed live on large screens during the event. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in raffles, hat contests, a wine pull, whiskey Plinko, and a variety of engaging games. Plus, guests will have a chance to hear from some of the clients of McKenna Farms and meet the incredible horses that help make McKenna Farms’ mission possible.
"Derby Day at The Farm is always a special event, not only because of the fun and excitement of the Kentucky Derby, but because of the difference it makes in our community,” said Jessie Moore, Executive Director. “As this is our silver anniversary for McKenna Farms, this year we are aiming to make it even more special.”
Tickets are expected to sell quickly. The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the brief program and live demonstrations are scheduled throughout the event beginning at 5:00 p.m. The live stream of the Kentucky Derby will begin about 6:45 p.m. and a special live auction will follow.
This highly anticipated event is more than just an afternoon of entertainment—it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. All proceeds from Derby Day directly support the children and families who receive life-changing services at McKenna Farms. By attending, guests contribute to vital therapy programs that enhance the lives of children with special and unique needs.
