Georgia CTI proudly hosted the 43rd Annual State Leadership Conference and Competition (SLC) April 16–18 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia. This three-day event brought together over 500 students from across the state, 140 judges, 94 CTI Coordinators, paraprofessionals, and 50 adult chaperones to celebrate a year of achievement in CTI, recognize student growth and talent, and showcase the skills gained through each student’s chosen career pathway.

Congratulations to the Paulding 4-H Shooting Stars BB Team for competing in the Target Challenge Weekend at Rock Eagle 4-H Center on April 25-27, 2025. 4-H BB rifle competition consists of 40 shots fired from four positions: Prone, Standing, Sitting, and Kneeling. The competition was long and challenging, as over 400 statewide 4-H’ers participated in the individual and team categories.
Reaching graduation just became more financially manageable for 83 students at Chattahoochee Technical College. To help them stay on track with their education, the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation has awarded $150,000 in student scholarships this year.
Paulding County 4-H’ers were extremely busy this winter as many of them competed in multiple Project Achievement public speaking competitions. Project Achievement is one of the largest and most exciting, challenging, and rewarding programs offered by Georgia 4-H. 4-H’ers choose a project area of interest, research the topic, and then write and present an oral presentation to others.
Chattahoochee Technical College is set to launch its Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) program after receiving the prestigious Air Agency Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration.
