Mrs. Naomi Corley Holland, widow of the late Attorney Hubert G. Holland has donated 4 framed copies of The Gettysburg Address in Abraham Lincoln’s handwriting to the 4 Paulding County Public Libraries. Mrs. Holland purchased a copy at an Estate Sale.

PC Sheriff’s Office mourns the loss of K-9 Hondo who passed away on Monday July 25th. K-9 Hondo, who was 14 K-9 Hondo, who was 14 years old, began his service with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office in November 2003 and retired in July 2012.
The Associate of Science in Nursing program at Chattahoochee Technical College recently received initial accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. Which validates the quality and caliber of the nursing program.

Kiwanis Club of Paulding County was officially formed. Officers and board directors were elected and the committees were established which included President Phyllis Silverman, President-elect Robin Stern, Treasurer Alice Dondelinger, Secretary Erin Richardson and Board Members Matt Newsom, Susan Browning and Sandy Kaecher.
Truth in Nature is a volunteer program to help young men growing up without a father or in a single-parent environment. Many young men in middle school or high school are growing up in our society without a positive male role model. The strain of being a single parent leaves little time to communicate with and provide that role model that is so desperately needed in these young men's lives.
