Hope Harbor Wellness is an Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center located in the heart of Hiram.
Paulding County Sheriff Gary Gulledge is excited to announce the release of a smartphone application. This app will serve as a new way for the Sheriff’s Office to connect with Paulding County residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.
The Paulding County Mental Health Court is an 18-month program that offers a less costly, more effective alternative to incarceration. It improves the response to individuals with mental illnesses who have come in contact with the criminal justice system. The first graduation was held on July 23rd, 2020, to celebrate the first graduate of the program.

Chattahoochee Technical College students are stepping directly from the college’s welding classes into the community’s skilled workforce at Lane Mechanical Inc. Based in Paulding County, Lane Mechanical Inc. designs, engineers and manufactures commercial kitchen and foodservice equipment for customers worldwide, including restaurants, hotels, government facilities, schools, and corporate kitchens.
Dallas, Georgia, July 28, 2020. Ten Paulding County Firefighters, as well as several Sheriff’s Deputies and 911 Center Communication Officers, received commendations for their act of heroism during a recent house fire.
Paulding Deputies were dispatched to 195 Hillside Drive Dallas, GA to assist the Paulding County Fire Department with a residential structure fire where there was a person trapped inside the burning home. Multiple Deputies responded to the scene to assist Firefighters. Deputies immediately sprang into action to assist Firefighters who were already inside the burning home. Deputies began helping to facilitate an escape route for the Firefighters and the victim.
