Hannah Rull, recipient of the2016 Paulding County Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Scholarship, recently joined the local Scholarship Committee to accept the award. Hannah is a student at the University of Georgia in Athens studying Agribusiness and working toward a certificate in International Agriculture. Hannah has an exceptional academic record and she is also a University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Ambassador, UGA Collegiate 4-H President and the Secretary Treasurer for UGArden Club. She will be working for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences this summer. Hannah has shown a passion for service and leadership in Agriculture and Paulding County Master Gardeners are proud to recognize Hannah’s hard work and to assist her with her continued educational endeavors.
This is the eighth year that the Paulding County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers have awarded the scholarship which is made available with proceeds from their annual spring plant sale. The scholarship is open to any student who is a resident of Paulding County and is enrolled at a Georgia College or Technical School and studying, horticulture, botany, forestry or agriculture.
