The Paulding County Reading Bowl Competition was held Saturday, January 30th at East Paulding High School. The competeing schools included Allgood, New Georgia, Panter, Poole, and Union Elementary Schools.
Chattahoochee Tech scholarship provided by the Paulding County Rotary Club. The scholarship is offered to residents of Paulding County and or full-time students attending the Paulding County campus. The Chattahoochee Tech scholarship is one of the programs funded by the golf tournament.

The Paulding Retired Educators Association met on January 12th at the First Baptist Church in Dallas. Roger Leggett brought a wagon that he designed for children's hospitals. The wagons are equipped with an IV pump and children can move about the hospitals more easily.
With a population in excess of 150,000, Paulding County is able to sustain two (2) Rotary Clubs: Dallas Rotary Club AND Rotary Club of Paulding County.
The Dallas Rotary Club is the newer of the clubs. It was established in 2003 and has 17 active members. This club currently has its regular meetings on Thursday mornings at Audrey’s Cafe. Please check Facebook for schedule.
The Paulding County Rotary Club, the first Rotary Club in Paulding County, was chartered in 1969. It has approximately 28 active members and meets regularly.

Paulding County Lions Club was founded in 1949. In 1965, the West Cobb Lions Club was established. The two clubs merged in December 2015 to form a larger club that continues to serve both areas.
