Pleasant Grove Baptist Church teamed up with Taste And See Ministries to prepare a beautiful sit-down dinner for Paulding's Homeless and less fortunate. Last week they decided to do something very special for Thanksgiving and treat these folks to a fine dining experience. So members from Pleasant Grove and South Paulding Key Club transformed the In Christ Worship Center into a pretty dining hall and gave them to a special evening, with Kasey Williams from Celebration Church of God sharing a message of hope with them.

CareLink of Northwest Georgia’s community health and resource center, intended to provide low-cost, high-quality medical care and support resources, officially opened last week and delivered its first day of operation. The building was acquired from WellStar and was being readied over the summer and completed last month.
A retirement reception was held in the Jail to honor the service of two longtime Paulding Deputies. Lieutenant Kathy Etheridge and Corporal Linda Kinnin were honored as they were surrounded by their friends, family, and co-workers. Together, Lieutenant Etheridge and Corporal Kinnin have over 42 years of service to the citizens of Paulding County. As of Friday, November 16, 2018, both will officially retire from service.

For the fourth year in a row, the Board of Trustees received the Role Model Foundation Board Certification from the Technical College Foundation Association (TCFA). Along with this award, the college’s Board of Directors received recognition for every Board member having completed a certification process administered by the Technical College Directors’ Association (TCDA).
The Association County Commissioners of Georgia, ACCG or Georgia’s County Association, recently presented county officials with their certificates for the completion of their continuing education requirements within the ACCG Lifelong Learning Academy. Recipients were recognized for their accomplishments during the 2018 Legislative Leadership Conference (LLC) in Glynn County, GA.
