State Raider Meet Finals

This last weekend saw five teams from Paulding County taking to the fields of friendly strife to compete at the state raider team meet, which was held down at Spalding High school, south of Atlanta. This was the first year that the meet was divided into a tier system, where teams competed against schools with JROTC programs of similar sizes. North and South Paulding brought their A game and dominated their division, with North Paulding taking 2nd Place overall and South Paulding taking 3 rd place overall. Additionally, both teams were recognized for individual event trophies as well. Hiram, who competed in a separate division, was also able to come home with a trophy, winning a 3 rd place in the Tire Flip. Congratulations to all the cadets on a truly fine season and a job well done!
