Abney Elementary Students Celebrate Military Children & Families in our Schools

Students in Ms. Holbrook’s 2nd-grade class celebrated military children and families in our schools on Thursday, April 26th. Several children in the class have parents who have served, and Ms. Holbrook’s son, Airman Mason W.Goodroe currently serves in the USAF. Students made buttons of support for their parents and for Airman Goodroe. The class ended their day of support with a quick phone call to Airman Goodroe to wish him well on a test he had later in the afternoon. He was humbled by the continued show of support for our military by second graders.
