NPHS AP Environmental Science Students Paddle the Etowah River

Recently, students in Mr. Tumlin's AP Environmental Science classes paddled down the Etowah River. They call themselves the "AP River Rats". Students observed numerous species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. They were also able to see how the river was used by prehistoric Indians and how it is currently being used for agriculture and power generation.
