The Hiram High School Stinger Battalion celebrated the 100th year anniversary of the creation of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps or better known as JROTC, on Saturday 23 April. It was a day of friends, family and friendly competition as the cadets competed throughout the day to see which company would earn the bragging rights as well as the streamer for their guidon. At exactly 11 am, the cadets took part in a 5K run that was hosted throughout the nation and abroad as part of the 100 year celebration. Cadets from all our Paulding high schools ran here at Hiram High school simultaneously with hundreds of thousands of cadets throughout the world.001 jrotcx800002 jrotcx800003 jrotcx800
