A 6 yard run by Jamal McIver put the ball on the one. From there Brantley Maudlin plunged in to tie the game at 21. Cass responded by kicking a 24 yard field goal to retake the lead with 5 minutes to play. The Patriots responded with a 75 yard game winning drive that took 7 plays and culminated with a Mauldin 16 yard touchdown pass to Jason Ledford. The Patriots defense forced a safety and were tasked after the Colonels recovered an on side kick. The Patriots defense intercepted a pass and then took a knee to end the game.
