Former South Paulding Star Ricco Aaron Receives National Award

Franklin, Mass. – Dean College defensive star Ricco Aaron (Douglasville, Ga.) was named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week it was announced on October 4, 2017.
This is the 19th season that D3football.com has selected the Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week.
Aaron scoops up the award after an eye-popping 20 tackles in Saturday's 10-3 win over Nichols last Saturday. According to HERO Sports, Aaron's 20 tackles were the most of any Division III player in the country last week.
Among his 20 stops, Aaron also had a sack, two tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry as the Bulldogs won their second game in a row to even their record at 2-2.
Aaron will enter this weekend's contest at Alfred State with 42 tackles on the season, good for second in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC).
