Casey Bethel, 2017 Georgia Teacher of the Year, spoke at Paulding’s Teaching as a Profession Mentor Appreciation event April 13, 2017. Teacher mentors and high school practicum students enjoyed Mr. Bethel speak about teaching being a noble profession.

The North Paulding Wolfpack is headed to the Elite 8 in the AAAAAAA State Baseball Playoffs. The Pack swept the 2nd Round series at Lambert Wednesday evening, winning 8-5 in Game 1 and 6-0 in Game 2.
The Sammy McClure Middle School and North Paulding High School underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) robotics teams swept the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) South East Regional Competition in Savannah on April 22nd.
This is uncharted waters for the Paulding County Patriots soccer program. The Lady Patriots have never won a region crown or advanced passed the first round of the State playoffs. So each time out they are setting new records.
The South Paulding Spartans baseball team fell to John's Creek High in round one of the State playoffs. The Spartan's won game one of the series 1-0 in extra innings.
Students at South Paulding High School have been coming to New Georgia Elementary this year mentoring some of our 4th and 5th graders. The students look forward to their Spartan brothers and sisters coming to “hang-out”.
