Martha Kirby Farrar and her husband, Dr. Ken Farrar, have gifted $26,000 to establish a new endowed scholarship for nursing students at Chattahoochee Technical College. The Gladys Lorene Thomas Kirby Memorial Endowed Scholarship is in memory of Martha’s mother, who graduated from the college in 1969 with a diploma in practical nursing.
Chattahoochee Technical College now offers two ways to earn a high school equivalency diploma – the GED test and the HiSET exam. Both the GED test and the HiSET exam measure high school equivalency skills that reflect the skills of a high school graduate.
