The students who were in Kindergarten that year are graduating this year. On May 5, 2016, Poole Elementary hosted twenty-eight of these seniors with a Poole Pioneers Giveback Reception.

Hiram High School will be implementing an innovative new way for the student body to learn about and take care of their finances next school year by teaming up with MembersFirst Credit Union. The credit union will build a brand-new, full-service, branch inside the school.

The North Paulding wolfpack boys lacrosse team lost a heartbreaker at home in the first round of the state playoffs to Alpharetta in overtime with Alpharetta scoring the sudden death goal with only 45 seconds remaining.
