The Paulding County Patriots hosted the Villa Rica Wildcats in a crucial region matchup Friday night at Dave Hardin stadium in Dallas. The Patriots badly needed a victory but fell to 2-4 (1-3) on the season in a close game.It was a back and forth struggle throughout with the lead changing hands many times.
The Paulding County Patriots traveled up 101 to Rome and met a formidable foe on the banks of the Coosa River at the historic Barron Stadium. When the smoke cleared it was the 10th ranked Rome Wolves that prevailed in a dominant performance.
South Paulding falls to Northgate The South Paulding Spartans hosted the Northgate Vikings this past Friday night. The Vikings came into the game with a 3-0 record to Souths 0-3 record.
The Paulding County Senior night was a great triumph for the class of 2017. On a night set aside to honor the outgoing Senior class the Patriots put their best effort into making the night a smashing success.
The Wolfpack was on the road again at Cherokee High School. The game began with both teams quickly trading turnovers with the other. Cherokee scored first but North drove down and got on the board when Ross Malmgren connected from 3 yards out to Chad Terrell. North remains undefeated at 5-0 and will be off next week before starting region play.
Hiram High School CTI (Career and Technical Instruction) student organization elected officers for the 2016-17 school year. The officers are Azavian Joiner, President; Dakota Sherman, Vice President; and Tamra Enright, Secretary.
The North Paulding Wolfpack traveled to Woodstock High School to battle at the woodshed. The Wolfpack stopped Woodstock on their first drive, forcing them to punt. North began the first of many successful drives.
South Paulding Spartans hosted the Douglas county Tigers on homecoming night. Looking for their first win the Spartan defense played tuff in the first half hoping the offense could come together and get into the end zone.
17th Annual “Battle of Paulding” In Memory of Coach Ken Phillips was played on Friday, September 9 th with HHS hosting PCHS Paulding County High School Patriots was presented the revolving “Battle” trophy on September 9th with a come from behind win.
