Paulding County Public Libraries revived a Library History Project to record the history of the libraries in scrapbook format. The books contain newspaper articles, library event photos, library correspondence, library awards, etc.

Students, families and staff from Primrose School of Bentwater demonstrated their commitment to giving back this week, raising $4,300 for local and national charities through a western themed Spring Fling event held on April 14.
Allstate Insurance Agent Travis Miller recently secured a $1,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands in the Community grant to support Helping Hands of Paulding County’s efforts to provide family support and assistance to seniors and those in financial need through their food pantry and other assistance programs.
As a part of this effort, The Nature Conservancy and Paulding County Extension are working together to provide a workshop that will focus on educating local landowners on the benefits of planting montane longleaf and the current programs that TNC and Partners have available to assist with the cost of planting longleaf.
