Fun for everyone, this signature project from our club will be a doggy expo, local Paulding vendors, food court and so much more!
During 1864, the house of Paulding resident, Dr. Augustus Smith, became the headquarters for three Confederate generals. Located on Hwy. 92 near the Cobb county line, a Georgia historical marker designates the site where General Hardee stayed on May 23, 1864.
Maureen Lavelle, a certified oncology nurse, helped launch the program and is the first cancer nurse navigator to serve patients with cancer at Paulding Hospital. She has worked with cancer patients throughout her 22-year career and was recently awarded the Crump Award for Excellence in Oncology Nursing.
Paulding Christmas Inc. is a non-profit 501-3c small volunteer organization that does “Big Work”. There are 9 active board members and several members that have served over the years that still help out on a regular basis.
