Established prior to the 2007-2008 school year, the Superintendents Cup sponsored by PT Solutions has presented annually to the high school in Paulding County that has the best overall athletic department based on overall success.
North Paulding High School Wolfpack and Head Coach Jim Bob Bryant were presented the revolving “Battle” trophy on August 23 rd with a true rivalry battle. This game did not disappoint with PCHS leading 17-14 going into halftime. The Wolfpack team came on strong in the second half with big plays to allow them to pull ahead and secure the “w”! North Paulding ended winning the “Battle” with the final score being 56-24.
The East Paulding Fastpitch Booster Board, Coaching Staff, and Athletic Department hosted owner of JCW Contracting, Joe Woods, Sunday afternoon to cut the ribbon on our new scoreboard. The East Paulding Fastpitch Booster Club raised part of the funds through an email campaign fundraiser (big THANK YOU to our players, their families and friends) and Joe matched us, making the new scoreboard a reality.
The Lady Wolf Pack lacrosse team fell to perennial power Milton from North Fulton 21-1 in Dallas to halt their history-making run as a semi-finalist in the State Playoffs.
The GHSA 7-5A "Region Player of Year" was awarded to East Paulding Girls Soccer standout Lauren Bergevine and East's Kim Black picked up her first All-Region selection at a banquet on Thursday.

South Paulding advanced to round 2 of the State playoffs by sweeping Habersham Central in round 1 winning 7-6 and 6-1. The Spartans will travel to Harrison in round 2 this week. East Paulding Girls Soccer lost to Decatur 3-0 in the state 7-5A playoffs on Tuesday, ending a special season for the Lady Raiders. Highly-skilled and well-coached, Decatur pressed East all game long. EP Keeper Mackenzie Dykes made a handful of terrific saves to keep East within striking distance, but for the first time all season, East was not able to find the net.
Paulding County Lady Patriots ended their regular season this week, the 11 Seniors on this Varsity team celebrate moving on to state playoffs once again. For these girls, this is the 3rd time in the last 4 years they have reached this goal.
East Paulding girls soccer finished out the regular season with a 10-0 win over Lithia Springs and a loss to McEachern, 4-3. East takes their 12-5-2 record to the State Playoffs when they travel to Decatur High on Tuesday.
The Lady Raiders notched 7th shutout of the season while running their undefeated streak to 8 games. The Raiders finished Region play with a 6-2 record, tied for second place in Region 7-5A. Overall the team is 10-4-2 with two games remaining.
The Paulding County Lady Patriots claimed the 4th seed in the tough region 7(5A) with a hard-fought 2 nil victory over the Hiram Hornets to close out region play. The Lady Patriots will travel to the Region 6 champions pitch to play the opening round of the state playoffs.
The North Paulding High School Lady Wolfpack Varsity Lacrosse team improved to 15-1 on the season as they captured the 7A/6A Area Championship by defeating Woodstock 19-3 on April 11th. This is the first Area Championship in School History for the Lady Wolfpack Lacrosse Program. The team has 2 non-region games remaining before moving on to the State Playoffs.
The East Paulding Lady Raiders went to South Paulding on Tuesday and played to a draw, 1-1, in an evenly played, weather-shortened match before a packed stadium on South's Senior Night. Senior Captain Lauren Bergevine put East ahead 1-0 with a 31-yard blast just under the crossbar late in the first half. South was able to net the equalizer with 7 minutes to play. Both teams played a furious finish.
